Living my left-wing fantasy
I never understood why those people in the Netherlands and Sweden wanted to burn the Quran. I really don’t get how this proves any point besides the fact that you love polarizing society even more.

„It isn’t fair when you pay the fare and he sends you back. You’re left laying flat like a penny on the tracks”

- Jump the Turnstile by Jordana & TV Girl is in my humble opinion one of the best songs ever created. It’s beautiful how something as abstract as the New York subway can symbolize love.

Although I support multiculturalism in my country, I am sick of people ignoring the fact that people with Slavic- and Arab backgrounds oftentimes put their socially conservative views on other marginalized groups like women and LGBTQ+-individuals into practice. 🤷‍♂️

I love how the right-wing Europeans that criticize the Islam for being misogynistic and homophobic are the same people that use cultural relativism to justify LGBTQ+-discrimination by Christians in Eastern Europe.

It’s always on my mind how our heteronormative society caused the gay community to hyper-sexualize themselves with apps like Grindr because they felt the need to catch up with heterosexuals (who did have the opportunity to experience sexual relationships).

I hope everyone gets the healthy and prosperous year they all deserve (except for dumb little teenage boys that are in their Elon Musk-admiration fase).

I hope everyone on BlueSky has a holly jolly Christmas.

Bezos and Musk will never understand beauty lies and the little things and not in the many (millions of exploited workers in their companies).

I believe supporting Ukraine against the Russian invasion is crucial, but I'm cautious about their EU membership. Our sympathy for Ukraine should not overshadow the valid concerns about the severe corruption in Kyiv.

Squatting emerges as a desperate response to enduring capitalist policies. It’s lovey how the Dutch government allowed slumlords to take over the Dutch housing market and create a monopoly. -it’s really not lovely though-

Capitalism's grip on the Dutch housing market has tightened, leaving many, including students like me, struggling to secure affordable living spaces. Spiraling prices and scarcity create barriers to entry. It's time to address the impact of unchecked capitalism on housing accessibility. 🤷‍♂️

To me, Biden's recent support for Israel is a puzzling move considering he risks alienating many Democrats which could potentially cause a higher amount of protest votes. Biden has yet to find the balance between maintaining alliances and appealing to diverse opinions within the Democratic Party.

It struck me om X last night how many anti-abortion activists claim a fetus is already a baby. Just like a nut has the essence to grow into a tree, a fetus has the essence to grow
Into a baby. Anti-abortion protestors need to understand the difference between actuality and potentiality.
