I asked AI why a country like Canada doesn't offer asylum to Kilmar Abrego Garcia and his family and I'm sad to learn that we would need him and his family to be at the Canadian border or on Canadian soil and there is no way to legally get him to the border of Canada right now.

My pet peeve is acronyms and abbreviations where they aren't necessary. Why use RCA for "root cause analysis"? We can just say "root cause".

I was getting off the plane and one of our pilots was getting off at the same time, so I stopped to let him off first. He said I'm the first passenger to do that in FOUR YEARS! He usually has to squeeze his way through. I say this so others have a chance to learn from this. Let the pilot through!

I've been open about the fact that I use the app Signal, and now a family member heard the news and called me, worried about me. People talk about bombs and war on that app! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

I don't think I thank Ramit Sethi enough!! I read his book in my early/mid 20s and I haven't heard any other system since that's been so perfect for us.
My simple financial system:
- Small # of credit cards
- Automatic investing into low-cost index funds
- Healthy margin of error
- Long time horizon
- Focus on $300,000 questions including increasing income

Named from one-armed bandits, which are slot machines because you play them via their one arm and they steal your money.
Sites like news sites have used them to find how best to steal a person's time. I feel a little more robbed now every time I check the news.
