Anyone who paid attention in Ben Stein's econ class (Anybody? Anybody?) knows tariffs raise prices. Unfortunately so does increased demand before tariffs hit.
Experiencing this with procuring laptops now, but I'm sure there are other goods too.

I’m an ex sex crimes prosecutor. I can attest it’s degrading to have a rape kit done. If an alleged victim submitted to one, I knew we had a real rape on our hands when I prosecuted cases.
