Another good driveway photon catch from last year.

This is the Clamshell Nebula in Cygnus. You don't see it photographed very often because there's brighter objects nearby (this image took around 24 hours exposure time), but I think it's a spectacular object.

A sort of bean shaped colorful and bright space nebula, a blue and teal center surrounded by reds and oranges showing the various gasses the nebula is composed of. The gasses have a very wavy structure and almost look like a beach front or atoll. There seems to be diagonal movement as well. Some smaller wispy dark cloud structures are visible on the right side of the nebula. There's a myriad of stars.
