Thanks for reading, I appreciate the feedback! Maybe that’s why it’s never gone anywhere in contests lol.

As soon as I saw your post, it felt like the Bat Signal 😂

That’s great thst you’re using your own photography! I’m looking forward to your next proof.

I also have to say that the font is growing on me every time I relook at it. Maybe making it lighter and making it bigger so it bleeds off on both sides a smidge would help make it easier to read without killing the edgy vibe of the font.

So maybe something a bit more obvious might be worth trying to appeal to international viewers? That being said. I don’t know how easy it would be to find a pic of a farm that’s obviously Aussie, so you may need to pick your battle there!

Just some thoughts from a writing community art director ☺️!

The image is interesting, and gives “back holler/rural” vibes but you state a farm in the logline and I dont make that visual connection here. Also, to someone who has never been to Australia (me), it doesn’t scream “Oh, that’s Australia!” to this Canadian.

I would suggest a different colour on the title so it’s more legible. That red on the brown background wouldn’t pass accessibility. It’s also really hard to read in a thumbnail size, so if you wanted to maximize the legibility at dif sizes, changing to a font that’s not as ragged and thin could help

I love this spin! I’m staring at the snowball right now realizing that it appears quite otherworldly…

Cannibals order “3rd degree” when they’re out on the town.

Alright, Todd! These comps are easily some of my favourite movies with Ocean’s Eleven taking that top spot all time. So to say you have my attention would be an understatement!

After my last proof, Cool Cat shouldnt even be uttered in the same sentence as either of these movies so this is a real stretch:

First for the criminals bad at their jobs and second for the cat. #scriptsky

Oh my goodness. I’m never going to be able to look at those trees again the same haha.

Ah, yes, I’ve been in similar situations before. At least there’s a foundation there, but If that’s all they’ve done, the marketing brain might still be a baby trying to walk and you need to help them accordingly 😂

Thanks for the boost, Leah!

And also a great point! Like any other artistic medium, the computer and the software are only a tool that requires someone to know how to use them.

I should clarify that yes my website lists some of my scripts there on the first page, there’s also a design portfolio there in the menu, too!

of the technology, I’m all-in! It should be stated that I will pass if I sense Ai was used in your design, but that shouldn’t come as much of a surprise nowadays!

You can take a look at my website to get a taste of what experience I have to offer.

Pls don’t hesitate to ask any questions!
