Gerrymandering is sadly legal as long as you're doing it to harm a political party and not a particular race. The problem with Texas is they didn't keep their real racist reasons secret and now they're fucked.

Sad that we'll never know what the vote would have been had Trump not flipped on it. I think the reason he flipped was because he knew how many were going to vote for it despite his opposition and he can't afford to look weak on it.

Context matters. You're engaging with Black activists insisting they use the more diluted definition of the word rather than the definition in common usage in the context of Black activists and Black activism.

Blaming individual Black grifters for white supremacy also strikes me as treating a symptom rather than the disease. Owens is a symptom of white supremacy, not a cause.

From my outsider experience the way most activists in Black spaces use the word is MW's definition 2a, which you've included, and the way Talib is using it is 2a. You're deliberately pretending he means 1a to score a point. Which strikes me as dishonest.

You seem to be confusing "bigoted" or "prejudiced" or "biased" with "racist." Racism is systemic and refers to power structures. People (like KO) not in the racial ingroup can't be racist because the power structures don't directly benefit them even if they themselves serve the power structures.
