i think back on my youth as an angry conservative kid who loved guns and spent way too much time online. i thank my lucky stars every day that i met good people as a young man who had the patience and foresight to guide me out of that stage of my life.

I can’t stop thinking about this. It’s disturbing to realise that someone at Facebook has a job where they’re paid to create and circulate lists of approved slurs targeting queer people and immigrants. That’s their actual job

@mrjamesob.bsky.social we’re the YOLO generation built on living life to the full. Real climate action often feels like sacrificing today’s joy for a future we might not even see & if too few join in the sacrifice can feel pointless It’s not an answer but, it explains why radical change is hard
