The £1.4bn-a-year ARRS has brought more than 30,000 additional staff into the general practice workforce in recent years. Just one of 17 roles funded through the scheme - little over a dozen in 2015, to nearly 200 by March 2019, 1k by the end of 2021 and 2k by the end of 2023
