Food, beer, unsuccessful sports teams, even less successful political movements. Giving a shit since 1969, and paying the price for it in depression, anxiety and unhealthy coping mechanisms.
Oh that's a devious way to get loads of cat pics! Anyway, here's my lovely boy Minchin helping himself to some sour cream.

This is, apparently, "an insult to Sunday dinners" and "like being served Sunday lunch with no veg".

Our crimes? Leaving the green beans with still some crunch to them, roasting the carrot instead of boiling it, and serving cabbage instead of broccoli.

Old people can be so rude and entitled.

Leicester, stats in yellow, have had a player sent off for a second yellow card. I don't think the BBC's advanced stats are as advanced as they claim...

I suppose you have to admire the commitment. They're just beans. But they're beans all the time.

Here he is, eating sour cream, which was his absolute favourite thing. And the hedgehog!

It seems only right and proper that the Republicans crying over the "immigrant vote" in the New York mayoral primary should go full Man In The High Castle and pull down the statue welcoming immigrants to the city. They obviously don't want it there any more.

I'm a bit embarrassed for the macro range of beers you've been offered in our "Good Beer" pubs, to be honest. Here's our current offering, by comparison...

@heardislandgov.bsky.social Are you escalating your tactics in your trade war with Elon Musk?

This potato is bored of your shit, and isn't going to put up with it any longer.

I have a "house dwarf" tomato coming through! No peppers yet, but I expected them to take longer. Love this time of year.

Well, Bangladesh have had a shocker of a tournament then. Or maybe it's the BBC?

The construction of this headline is utterly horrific in a world where the bar for "horrific" seems to get raised every day. The US President is looking to set up a protection racket while parroting talking points written by the Kremlin.

How did things fall this far so fast?

Just booked a table at a Michelin star place for a birthday meal, saw this, thought of you and cancelled the booking...

You know, for anti-anxiety medication these tablets have a rather aggressive tone of urgency.

First meal of 2025, and taking the rare opportunity of being closed ourselves to eat out - at the Dabbling Duck in Great Massingham, Norfolk. Genuinely impressed so far. Home smoked trout with pickled beetroot just lovely. Other starters equally good.
