Got rejected from an internship (it’s fine it happens) with the reason that my experience doesn’t align with the job. They said they were impressed with my experience. The internship was frontend development. All the experience I have is front end development. How much closer do you want?

@walaber.com replicube is awesome, it’s distracting me from my work pls help. (Also you should totally make modes for other languages like C or make modding tools so I can make it myself :))

If anyone knows about game development programming internships lmk. I know… all of it. C#, C/C++, Python, unity, unreal, OpenGL, web dev, app dev… other things I’m forgetting. I have 3 years of experience and I’m still in school. Pls.

Ya know I used to feel pretty down about it too, but then I realized I wasn’t a “bad programmer” or “bad designer” I just didn’t know some things. Thats part of making, not knowing and learning. And I’m good at learning.
You know what I hear a lot about in this industry? Imposter syndrome.
I made the 8th best-selling game of all time. By all rights, I should feel like an authority. I don’t. I have it too.
Here’s my advice to devs out there: Ignore it. You’re better than you think you are.
