I’ve played one Assassin’s Creed game and didn’t find it that fun, but this I would’ve paid money for.
SCOOP: Last year, Ubisoft cancelled an Assassin's Creed game set during Reconstruction. Was to feature a Black Assassin who, among other things, fought the rise of the Klan

Sources: Leadership nixed it over concerns re: U.S. political climate, backlash to Yasuke

People want to treat the Lincoln Yards area as a transit desert when it actually has much better rail access today than much of the city. There are multiple stops served by multiple lines within a half mile, they're just in need of more pleasant pedestrian connections than what exists today.

fuckin force private jets to be zero emission by like 2030, either hydrogen or battery electric charged by clean energy that they’re also on the hook for. If rich motherfuckers want to be this wasteful they can pay for it

It is remarkable that the west is committing to spending 5% of GDP on defence, and almost no one has made the case that the most pressing threat to our security this century is climate change and we should be spending more on tackling that.

Breaking @propublica.org: Bukele of El Salvador has become one of Trump’s favorite authoritarians, and Trump touts him as a foe of MS-13. But a US investigation has found evidence he has colluded with the gang, even paying it for votes.

Unironically they should buy up the domains for about 60 defunct local newspapers in swing states. Hire two reporters to write almost exclusively about highschool sports and new restaurants opening with every 10th article about how the local GOP is screwing over people.

Has anyone looked into civic crowdfunding for stuff like bus shelters before? Seems like it would be a good way to get people involved in a visible way and get support for quality of life projects that may not otherwise get funding, and if it had a slick website with a map I’d constantly be looking.
