The Trump administration believes that the rich and powerful should be pardoned for their crimes, even after judges and juries determined their guilt.

But if you’re a non-white guy in a fishing boat, there’s no need for a trial or even an arrest. Murder from above, no questions asked.
When this criminal was jailed, the judge told David Gentile and America: ‘This is a warning to would-be fraudsters that seeking to get rich by taking advantage of investors gets you only a one-way ticket to jail.’ I guess not

When Roe v. Wade was overturned in June 2022, abortion became virtually illegal in Alabama. But that wasn’t all.

The state’s attorney general wanted to prosecute anyone helping others get out of state for an abortion.

This week on Reveal:
After banning abortion, Alabama threatened to prosecute the helpers
When Roe v. Wade was overturned and abortion became illegal in Alabama, helping people get out of state came with the threat of jail time.

The president is a political cartoon of corruption come to life, a gaudy grifter who is selling off pardons and lining his pockets, building a golden ballroom and protecting his fellow sex predator elites, all the while regular Americans are suffering and struggling to make ends meet.

Habba is apparently first generation US, and I wish I could say this sort of speak is shocking, but it’s not. I’m 3rd generation US who grew up in a community of varying generations who knew those who immigrated here, & the number who love to pull up the ladder behind them is depressingly staggering
Acting US Attorney Alina Habba: "There were individuals that were saying this should be a safe harbor. A safe haven. Why? America is America because we protect our own. We don't allow this to happen. So when you say 'we,' I want to be very clear, it is not the Trump admin. It was the Biden admin."

The Trump admin now says nursing isn't a professional degree.

The admin plan to redefine what constitutes a professional degree to exclude nursing and limit access to student loans — outraging national health care groups and leaving nursing students questioning how they'll pay for graduate degrees.

Imagine if they just subsidized newspapers and magazines the way they’re subsidizing this slop
"All of this falls apart if humans don't adopt the tech. This is why you've seen Meta cram its lame chatbots into WhatsApp and Instagram. This is why Notepad and Paint now have useless Copilot buttons on Windows. This is why Google Gemini wants to "help you" read and reply to your emails."
Analysis: OpenAI is a loss-making machine, how can it survive?
Don't call it a bubble! Loss-making monster OpenAI is on the hook for $1.4 trillion (with a T) in compute commitments. How can this go on?

Gentle reminder that both Alabama and Georgia fans hate having to play each other. Dread is honestly the correct term here.
