I cannot emphasize enough how needlessly cruel the UK immigration system is to ordinary people who want a family life together and aren't well-off already, and anyone wanting to make it worse should be shunned.

Talking to Republican friends who are delighted with the Trump executive orders that they've heard about. When I ask about birthright citizenship or pardoning the violent J6ers (or now Ulbricht) they just say they haven't heard about that and it's probably fake.
