This working! Right here! The "big mistake" I knew at a glance would be losing my meditation cushion again, but I thought, "No way! I've learned to keep it attached to my bag with a carabiner!"
I still have no idea how it disappeared! I swear it came up to the hotel room then vanished.

I find sometimes it is difficult to keep up a magick practice simply because I frequently don't have anything I want that feels suitable for spellwork... which is why I find the #ExistentialSigil work so effective. It breaks me out of the over-thinking and into the doing.

Read House of Leaves and wow, very much digging it. I love the way it encourages you to follow up leads in other works. I say I am reading this book, but it led me to spending time reading the Aeneid, Borges, and researching mythology...

Me too! Except I have now also picked up Inkscape, which is similarly a terrible user experience and I love it. Dare I mention blender in the same post?
I too enjoy my very hard-to-use image editing program that can technically do anything I need it for after I look up some things to find the right menu (oh wait, does it need a new extension? no I swear I did this before).
Anyway yeah, GIMP is awful and it's all I use.

I used Gimp for 15-some years, I am very proficient at it, and I can tell you with absolutely certainty that once you know how to use it and know its quirks it is still not good

Moving through subways and train stations I wish I could experience the architecture unobscured by advertising covering not only every flat wall but also intruding on curves, columns, floors, the risers on staircases...
