I've been doing just fine with Tidal since 2022, for what it's worth, and there are plenty of services that can port over your playlists. I did it. You can, too.
Spotify is now running ICE recruitment ads. We asked them to stop. They ignored us. Let's show them what we showed Disney. No Kings, No Collaborators, No Capitulators. indivisible.org/cancel-spotify

"It's actually so ludicrous to imagine splitting up Johnson County," Davids told KCUR's Up To Date. "I've seen drafts of hypotheticals where part of Johnson County would be in a district that goes all the way to the Colorado border."
Rep. Sharice Davids says Kansas gerrymandering would 'silence the voices' of voters
Republican leaders in the Kansas Legislature want to follow the lead of states like Texas and Missouri by gerrymandering the state's congressional maps to favor Republicans. U.S. Rep. Sharice Davids, a Democrat who represents the state's 3rd district, says the idea of splitting up Johnson County is ludicrous.

Hey, Mr. President, you know what would help bring manufacturing back to the US? SWITCHING TO THE METRIC SYSTEM. You know, the system that THE ENTIRE WORLD uses to make stuff?

I still can't get past the idea that people in America are now supposed to accept that this is a valid form of law enforcement and just assume it's fine when random dudes in groups with face-coverings, no ID, no warrant, & no uniform grab people off the street and force them into unmarked vehicles
Not an original point but worth saying again - there is not a single element in this picture that identifies any of these folks as law enforcement agents. No badges, no uniforms, no vests. Out of context it just looks like a bunch of random guys are kidnapping a mayoral candidate.
Breaking News: Brad Lander, the New York City comptroller who is running for mayor, was detained by ICE agents at an immigration court as he tried to escort a migrant out of the courthouse to prevent his arrest. nyti.ms/4jWkANE

The Flint Hills Trail in Kansas offers views of riverside bluffs, woods, rolling farmland and the largest remaining tallgrass prairie region — one of the most endangered ecosystems in the world. And now cyclists will be able to ride nearly 100 miles of uninterrupted trail. https://loom.ly/3oMei7o
Kansas is making the 93-mile Flint Hills Trail even better for cyclists
The Flint Hills Trail travels through tallgrass prairie and along riverside bluffs. It also offers a chance to stop at historic sites, such as the Allegawaho Heritage Memorial Park near Council Grove.

Is there a word for the sensation when you are disoriented and your mental map is like spinning around in your head for a second or two before it snaps into place? It's a very specific sensation for me and "disoriented" doesn't really capture it, imo.

It’s not just that Trump admires Putin, he’s adopting his playbook.

Trump’s comments today on Canada (“an arbitrary border”) and Greenland (“maybe more soldiers go there”) is EXACTLY how Putin talked about Ukraine.

None of this is funny. It’s an explicit threat to sovereign nations.
Trump on Greenland: "Denmark is very far away. A boat landed there 200 years ago or something and they say they have rights to it. I don't know if that's true. I don't think it is, actually ... we really need it for national security ... maybe you'll see more and more soldiers go there."

But the people who attended the meeting say they are just concerned Kansans who wanted their senator to hear their concerns.
