Fuck you, pal.
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

Home Depot allowed Flock to set up cameras in all their parking lots here so of course they're cool with ICE kidnapping people from their stores.
For folks asking if they've made it *inside* a Home Depot yet as the business has clearly just continued letting agents do whatever they want in their lots, the answer is yes. This is from yesterday in Evanston.

Okay to MARTA’s credit they’ve got people at Five Points directing football fans to the correct platforms for the stadium. Haven’t seen that in a while.

Well folks, GDOT did it again! That's a wireless emergency alert for ROADWORK that might cause congestion! Thank you for once again devaluing the entire WEA system and giving people even more alert fatigue.

me: spends hours, days, WEEKS, fretting over how to even begin to approach safely handling user data

the casual vibe coder:
NEW, by me: Last week we reported TeaOnHer, a gossip dating app for men that rocketed to the top of Apple's App Store, was exposing users' data and driver's licenses, which users had to upload to sign up. The bugs now seem fixed.

This is how we found the data-exposing flaws in less than 10 minutes.
How we found TeaOnHer spilling users' driver's licenses in less than 10 minutes | TechCrunch
Exclusive: A dating gossip app for men exposed thousands of users' personal data, including scans of driver's licenses. The app's developer, Xavier Lampkin, won't say if he plans to notify affected us...

Allow me to take this time to unapologetically shill for the Brussels sprouts at Bantam + Biddy at Ansley Mall in Atlanta. They’re lightly fried with some salt and they are fucking amazing 🤩 Everyone needs to experience these at least once.
Brussels sprouts were yummy until a yield-expanding variant took over the market and made them bitter and gross for a few generations, made worse by a cultural practice of boiling them. Sweeter sprouts and better ways of cooking them only came back recently.

Brussels sprouts used to be scorned. Now they're trendy. And one reason for their renaissance sits tucked away in a basement storage room in the Netherlands.

Staff photographer for the airport. Give me a camera and all access and I’ll be a happy camper.
What job are you extremely unlikely to ever get that you think you would kick ass at?

I think I could book compelling wrestling storylines.

He's saying these things in front of FLSERT and FDEM logos, Florida's State Emergency Management Agencies. These agencies need the people they serve to be able to trust them. Involving them in this undermines their mission and purpose. Disgusting.

Trump calls for deporting US citizens: "We also have a lot of bad people that have been here for a long time ... many of them were born in our country. I think we ought to get them the hell out of here too, if you want to know the truth. So maybe that'll be the next job."

nfreader.net?fish=tempest if you're the kind of nerd like me who enjoys a good codename you're gonna LOVE this little codename generator I cobbled together

NOTE: It may randomly append/prepend `butt` to your codename. I'm not sure why this is happening. Works great aside from that though.
