I turned on my electric piano for the first time in a long time to practice the main theme for Kirby Air Riders, but the G5 and C6 keys decided to break :o

I was too upset to continue trying the Kirby Air Riders theme with the broken keys, but I had funny idea that made me end up feeling better :v

The visual presentation of rail grinding is very nice as well

And I like that when you approach the finish line, the background music starts to fade away, making the last moments more tense and creating anticipation while also helping transition into the finish music

One of the signs of how good your game's graphics are is how good your water looks

And this is some nice-looking water

This game's visual presentation is fantastic ✨

So pleasant for the eyes and just the right amount of flashy and colorful

But I suppose that's to be expected in a game made by Sakurai that was made after Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which also has really nice visual representation

In Kirby Air Riders, when you're racing online and you finish before other players by a significant margin, you can watch a progress bar at the top of the screen that shows their progress to completing the race

I also used this as an opportunity to record more of the final results screen music :v

The nostalgia from riding several rails in a row in City Trial is strong

I'm sure many people have fond childhood Kirby Air Ride memories of zooming around the rails continuously, not accomplishing much but having fun doing it :v

At least now, powerups can sometimes be found on the rails

Using a machine that's good at gliding while playing as Susie is interesting, because as a heavyweight, she doesn't get to glide for very long, but her passive ability with that mini helicopter makes it easier to get some initial lift

So it's easy to rise up, but then you get pulled right back down

I didn't end up contributing much to this fight, mostly because of how my stat combination gave me high speed but slow turning, making it very hard to steer towards the boss to deal damage to it

But 4 of my 6 teammates made short work of Robo Dedede :v

Robo Dedede is one of those things where, as an adult, you're like "This is a game developer just having fun, and that's nice to see", but you know that kid you would've been gawking and pointing at the screen and losing it

"King Dedede, but he's a GIANT ROBOT that TRANSFORMS?!"

The icy cave under the volcano in the original City Trial map was already surreal, but this volcano in Skyah has a strange pocket dimension if you fall into its peak

My driving was bad since it was nearly 3 AM, but if I did manage to touch that beam, I'd be launched out the top of the volcano :v

Here's a clip of me getting a decent rank in a Dustup Derby by simply staying away from other people for as long as I can

I got 6th place out of 13 people using this strategy

Reminds me what I usually did in Fortnite back when I tried playing that a few times lol

I saved a few clips here and there of what it was like to play and navigate the menus of the Global Test Ride, since it was something that wouldn't be around forever

These aren't super necessary because YouTubers playing the game document this sort of thing by default, but it's nice to have anyway

In this clip, I face off against a single opponent, Mr. Zore, using the same rider and machine as me, that being Meta Knight on a Slick Star

But we were playing High Jump, one of City Trial minigames that serve as a simple stat check, so my stats not being as good as his meant he easily won lol

I really like the new version of the Gourmet Race song, especially how it's tailored to the time limit of the Gourmet Race minigame

Also, this clip shows me riding the Vampire Star, and at the end, when it turns red after I hit someone, its red and black match Susie's red and black very nicely :o
