This account will probably mostly just be gameplay clips and yaps about whatever I feel like yapping about.
Susie is a cutie patootie.
Maybe this game will get comparable sales to Mario Kart World and Nintendo will be impressed by how powerful a strategy it is to just let passionate developers make good games instead of taking the corporate strategy of chasing trends like open worlds and whatnot

But at the end of the day, it's up to you, and it's your money
For me, the $520 "entry fee" feels worth it for this game, but I highly doubt this is a popular opinion :v

Then again, they treated demos of the Splatoon games the same way, if I remember correctly, so I guess this at least shows think KAR multiplayer will be a smash hit 🤔

During the times Air Ride and City Trial weren't available, I still booted up the Global Test Ride sometimes to practice different mechanics and to do that practice race against Meta Knight on Floria Fields

"Grip" is a stat they display now when you're picking your rider and machine, after all

I don't mind the new game feel
But yeah, you're not crazy, it does feel different :v

I personally think the new game feels more like you're on a floating vehicle than in the old game, where it feels overall more grounded

Yeah, the price stings, but I wouldn't have even gotten the Switch 2 if not for this game :v
Part of me has wanted a new Kirby Air Ride for years, and it seems Sakurai poured a lot of effort and love into it; the stars have aligned for the one thing that would make me buy a Switch 2 lol

My Switch says I've played Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for 1,970 hours, which is another game I was extremely excited for
I predict I'll play Kirby Air Riders even more than that :v

Kirby Air Riders is the same game but with much, much more to it, and I can't wait for it to become part of my rotation of games

That's 34 tasks done in one sitting, with only 14 left for me to complete the last of the three Checklists :o
But these last ones are going to be quite tedious

They each have their strengths and weaknesses, both in races and City Trial, and their particular playstyles speak to me :v

I would guess that Starman's special in particular is probably very useful in City Trial, and it's probably why I've seen people playing him so often :v

Susie is more sturdy, and her weight makes it easier to secure Quick Spin takedowns and to break boxes and grab items when her special is active

So Susie's special makes her much easier to stop and start moving, as well as to aim at things

I mean, here I am typing a thread about Kirby Air Riders instead of tending to my needs :v
