For some reason, I thought Kirby: Planet Robobot was a Wii U game, and I therefore can't play it because I don't have a Wii U, but it's a 3DS game, and I do have a 3DS :o

I turned on my electric piano for the first time in a long time to practice the main theme for Kirby Air Riders, but the G5 and C6 keys decided to break :o
I was too upset to continue trying the Kirby Air Riders theme with the broken keys, but I had funny idea that made me end up feeling better :v

The visual presentation of rail grinding is very nice as well
And I like that when you approach the finish line, the background music starts to fade away, making the last moments more tense and creating anticipation while also helping transition into the finish music

This game's visual presentation is fantastic ✨
So pleasant for the eyes and just the right amount of flashy and colorful
But I suppose that's to be expected in a game made by Sakurai that was made after Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which also has really nice visual representation

In Kirby Air Riders, when you're racing online and you finish before other players by a significant margin, you can watch a progress bar at the top of the screen that shows their progress to completing the race
I also used this as an opportunity to record more of the final results screen music :v

In Kirby Air Riders, when you're racing online and you finish before other players by a significant margin, you can watch a progress bar at the top of the screen that shows their progress to completing the race

The nostalgia from riding several rails in a row in City Trial is strong
I'm sure many people have fond childhood Kirby Air Ride memories of zooming around the rails continuously, not accomplishing much but having fun doing it :v
At least now, powerups can sometimes be found on the rails

Using a machine that's good at gliding while playing as Susie is interesting, because as a heavyweight, she doesn't get to glide for very long, but her passive ability with that mini helicopter makes it easier to get some initial lift
So it's easy to rise up, but then you get pulled right back down

Using a machine that's good at gliding while playing as Susie is interesting, because as a heavyweight, she doesn't get to glide for very long, but her passive ability with that mini helicopter makes it easier to get some initial lift

Robo Dedede is one of those things where, as an adult, you're like "This is a game developer just having fun, and that's nice to see", but you know that kid you would've been gawking and pointing at the screen and losing it

The icy cave under the volcano in the original City Trial map was already surreal, but this volcano in Skyah has a strange pocket dimension if you fall into its peak
My driving was bad since it was nearly 3 AM, but if I did manage to touch that beam, I'd be launched out the top of the volcano :v

I really like the new version of the Gourmet Race song, especially how it's tailored to the time limit of the Gourmet Race minigame

Speaking of my Checklist in Kirby Air Ride, I completed that Frozen Hillside time attack challenge at around 2 AM after the 5th Global Test Ride event ended at midnight in my timezone, finishing off the Air Ride Checklist with no free squares used and a fully golden Air Ride Checklist ✨
