Meanwhile, we have a Type 2 Diabetes epidemic in the US because most doctors don't know it's caused by carbohydrates, eating between meals, etc. Wouldn't cost $2.2B to send an email informing them.
Koh: So we're playing politics with funding that's supposed to currently be going to Alzheimer's victims, stroke victims, diabetes victims. And that advancement can't wait for politics.

Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions - rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking steps to make sure students can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope others follow suit.

Exactly, and this is also why Mexico sends so many workers to the US to take crappy jobs - they are ruled by oligarchs. Not sure why the US/world media doesn't ever mention this.
AOC: The crumbling of our rights and protections. Understand that all of this is what it means and what it feels like to be governed by billionaires. This is what oligarchy feels like.. it is this system that has brought us the most corrupt administration in American history..

This is how my generation (boomers) thought about 1984 and 2000.
I know times are bad because any date from the future (2034, 2078, 2026) sounds like it could be the title of a post-apocalyptic movie.

Well, how many sports stadiums has Milwaukee funded instead of mitigating known sources of lead for their most vulnerable residents over the decades? Maybe the millionaire owners and athletes will have a fundraiser and clean up the mess.

Not to mention bringing back child labor. Let's sign up Musk's brood first.

I guess people think that we women can only be happy when single?
Michelle Obama has spoken out about how she is choosing what she wants to do in life.

“People couldn’t even fathom that I was making a choice for myself ... they had to assume that my husband and I are divorcing,” Obama said of her newfound freedom to say “no.”

Democrat Raja Krishnamoorthi has been doing very little the past four years. His official website has many entries from 2019 and 2020, but almost nothing since then. Very discouraging.
