There are a lot of people around the world who are morally opposed to MAID. They then spread disinformation about it far and wide. Media outlets do the same. This includes people on the left. If you listen to these people you'd think that Canada allows MAID for any reason or for being poor.

These ridiculous mega-projects like "datacenters in space" (doomed by thermodynamics) make a LOT more sense when you realize they're massive Ponzi schemes designed to transfer wealth from pension funds to VC's through "fee stacking."
