Grand panorama, well done! I just got a simple shot

Autumn is here, leaves are changing, some dropping. Meadow cut, a bit cooler, flowers drooping, days shorter.

It looks like you are really organised, well done for patiently getting a great crop. I tried this year for variety rather than quantity, but our summer was really good, and this just one picture, despite using or sharing many many kg’s along the way

I posted a photo of #tomatos last week. Despite a lot of work making soup, pies and chutney it’s still growing. Opinions welcome!

Agreed! Used these earlier for roasted tomato soup to be treasured 😊

A lot more than that have been gobbled, used, or shared! E.G. 3kg for soup yesterday

Agreed, it’s so worth growing your own, I really cannot describe the difference of taste and texture. doesn’t need a lot of space to get a piece of it. Here’s a puff pastry pie in combo with Ricotta, divine

You could get used to it, been surprised at the various recipes to make both immediate and storage use. These made nearly 4L of the most divine soup

I’d like to share my (photo of) tomatoes, it’s been a brilliant year, nearly 40 varieties, but a bit of a challenge to use, share but definitely not waste…..

Just hoping the Eagle will show capable and fair leadership…….

Here’s an amateur shot from July

Just a glimpse today of the “wet meadow”, haven of so many insects and more..

Thanks for your great summary, well done!
Here are a few moments from 25….

Just a few shots from around the garden to enjoy. We all deserve an occasional break…

Couldn’t wait till tomorrow! You are 100% correct, the earlier plant is taller (growing through lots of other stuff) than this less inhibited example

@wildflowerhour.bsky.social spotted this earlier today, haven’t been able to identify it, any thoughts? If not, I could try to get closer (brambles etc. …). It’s probably 75cm tall, leaves very small

Finding the #wildflowerhour posts interesting! Lucky to have many here…. this is just one to be enjoyed whenever….

Thanks, appreciated! We are fortunate to be able to be close to, and enjoy the world around us, as opposed to what is reported as ‘news’

Question for #speirgorm as repak.ie don’t seem to have an answer.
What am I supposed to responsibly do with a pack with this symbol?

You are well ahead of me! Tunnel used for over wintering, so delayed my growing start. As well, seriously distracted by a great spring in the wild side…
May 9, 2025 at 7:37 PM
@judyw.bsky.social thanks for that! I like the sounds you have recently shared. Attached is a very recent and simple photo

Delighted to see urban trees, but, there is much to be loved beyond the city ….
