Currently making the switch from Spotify to Deezer. Founded in 2007 in Paris, France. Deezer pays artists $500-$700 per/100k streams. Where as Spotify only pays $238-$500 per/100k streams. Same monthly price as Spotify with substantial better quality streaming overall. [Yes they have podcasts too]

It's goofy having people swear how much they hated a website for over a decade but get bothered when somebody wants to stop using it.
Personally - I'm happy there has been so much discussion about people wanting to start up their own websites. I'd love to see a broader more creative internet again.
