Ich erinnere mich an ein Gespräch am Küchentisch in den frühen 2000ern zu genau dem Thema.
Dort kam das Fremdwörterbuch auf den Tisch und extrem,radikal und militant wurden einmal durchdacht. Gerade bei "radikal" muss ich immer wieder daran denken.
Die Diskussion ist nicht ganz neu,aber wieder da.

Wir leben in einer Zeit, in der Wörter benutzt werden, ohne dass jemand noch weiß, was sie bedeuten. Das ist kein Zufall, sondern ein Zeichen des Anti-Intellektualismus: Begriffe werden entleert, verzerrt, gegeneinander verwischt. "Radikal" ist dafür ein gutes Beispiel.
