The President shit himself on live TV. Melania bombed. The Epstein files are sending shockwaves through the Alt Right. Liam and his dad are back home. A Texas district that was DEEP red for 35 years flipped blue. Pretti's killers have been identified.

Small wins, but you can feel the change coming.

What gives you hope in these awful times?

I’ll tell you my answer: the people of Minneapolis.

Sometimes change takes time. We may be fighting ICE and/or the Trump regime for months, even years.

Keep in mind, there are many ways to support the movement.

Protest. Boycott. Volunteer. Donate. Patrol. Shop local.

Do what you can. Take breaks when you need to. We will get through this! ☀️

A good read.

Also, if you're new, SALUTE is a helpful method of reporting ICE encounters.

Size. How many agents/ officers?
Activity. What are they doing?
Location.
Uniform.
Time.
Equipment (including vehicles)

Oh look, the government that sent thousands of armed agents to Minnesota to distract from the Epstein files did such a horrible job that they had to release the Epstein files to distract from people coming together in solidarity with Minnesota.

I miss cycling. In the warmer months, I bike commute as much as possible. The Twin Cities has awesome bike infrastructure.

When spring comes, will it be safe to ride? Do it need to carry my passport with me on my bike, in case I'm stopped / profiled? 💔

I took today off work.

One day protests/ strikes increase awareness & visibility. It shows power in numbers. We can't be ignored.

Longterm boycotts apply sustained economic pressure. If companies profit from doing business with ICE, we take our dollars elsewhere.

To be effective, let's do both.

Fucking cowards.

How many people will ICE terrorize over the next two weeks while the Senate plays politics?

They are hoping tensions will relax over the next two weeks and they can negotiate higher funding, with less constraints.

They need to defund ICE and bring these agents to justice.
Major update: Senate Democrats agree to temporarily fund ICE for two weeks.

The White House eats crow, admits it is wrong on Minnesota and ICE.

Trump sues the IRS for $10 billion, trying to take your taxpayer dollars.

Shop local, Minnesota! ❤️ Let's support our local small businesses.
The federal presence in Minnesota has been especially tough on our local businesses.

Choosing to shop local, grab takeout, or visit a neighborhood store is one way we can stand with our neighbors and continue to show the nation what it means to respond with care and decency.

We need to heal. But healing is a luxury we simply do not have while ICE is terrorizing our community.

ICE needs to leave Minnesota. DHS agents who committed crimes here need to be identified and brought to trial.

Our justice system needs to do its job. Only then can Minnesotans heal.
Minnesota is grieving. But we’re resolved. The support we’ve received from across the country has energized us, and given us hope.

It’s time for the federal government to draw down their forces and let us get back to allowing freedom, opportunity, and security – for everyone.

Imagine if we had nationwide, longterm boycotts of companies with contracts to profit off ICE brutality against American cities.

Personally, I'll never spend another dollar at these companies.

Also, add Target and Home Depot to this list.
Fortune 500 companies that have contracts with ICE:

-Amazon
-AT&T
-Booz Allen Hamilton
-Caci
-Charter Communications
-Comcast
-Dell
-Ecolab
-FedEx
-General Dynamics
-L3Harris
-Motorola
-Thermo Fisher
-UPS

Know who profits from Trump's cruelty.

I had a tiktok. I left the platform because after the murder of Alex Pretti, all my posts were suppressed.

If you search tiktok right now for "Minnesota", all the search results are multiple days old. Which is crazy, because so much is being reported from Minnesota every day.
Just days after a group of Trump-aligned billionaires officially took over TikTok in the U.S., users reported their videos criticizing ICE and the shooting of Alex Pretti were suppressed or delayed.

The oligarchy is tightening its grip over even more of our media.

Beware.
