a friend said that my dog acts like a being disappointed to find he's been reincarnated, like he's all "ugh, not again." if you know my dog, this is ... not wrong. he is a singular being. another human who spent time with him recently said, "what an odd little character."

all hail the portland frog for introducing a new level of whimsy to the protests. that absurdity has amplified the optics exponentially. also i now own this ridiculous unicorn onesie (9 bucks at the goodwill) and it cracks me up. i want to wear it everywhere.

These are ridiculous fucking times which is why I will be protesting with my neighbors while wearing this ridiculous unicorn onesie. I was so psyched to find it waiting for me at the goodwill.

took my underemployed self on a bike ride down to the water where it was blustery as hell and the wind was throwing the surf a good 10 feet into the air. that seawall is ~ 3ft high.

I don't think of Seattle as being a leaf color destination there are bright pops like this all over the place right now. And the sky is so so so blue this morning, it just sings.
