i'm SO SICK of centrist bullshit, had it up to HERE with it. that's a good part of why i'm so psyched about Katie Wilson's lead in the Seattle mayor's race. taxes pay for things that help people! government should provide services! no one needs THAT much money! socialism is good, actually!

Live video of me seeing Katie Wilson has expanded her lead and could well be Seattle's socialist mayor!!!!

Increase Congress's health care rates by the same amount every American has to pay in that income bracket. Do it.

it's a stunner day in seattle. i rode my bike home from my stop gap low wage job (which, btw, it's great, i love it, it just isn't enough income!) in the cold and now i'm having leftover curry. i am trying to take a minute to observe what's good because... you know. everything's fucked.

Doooo it, Seattle voters. Only takes a sec and wow, could your vote make a difference.

for seven years i was in a cover band. we were your run of the mill mostly 80s bar cover band but we did everything on ukulele, our drummer played cajon and a small array of cymbals. it was insanely fun and i still miss it.

We’ve now taken the lead by 91 votes! 🤯 This thing is certainly not over! Over 1,000 ballots have been challenged, so if you haven’t tracked your ballot yet get on it! Our trusty volunteers have been working hard to "cure" ballots so they count! We're so close!

i get that a general strike is hard in the US when we depend on our employers for so much, but i wonder how much we can just... boycott the economy. essentials/second hand/barter only. is that a thing?

This bill doesn’t address the core issue that millions of Americans will no longer be able to afford ACA insurance coverage next year. I’m willing to work with anyone to create a path forward but this isn’t it.
