I used to live there. It's barely a pond. It used to have a fountain. Can't be more than a few feet deep, if that. Just a toxic mess in the hot months. Full of just stormwater runoff.

Can't wait til I have the space to get into sand boss again, in any capacity. Wish I could buy!

Genuinely happy and proud of all those folks, and I try not to be bitter about it. But could I have gone to vet school or done something super cool in the zoo field, as the first person in my poor af family to go to university?

I love hearing the stories from the guests on our podcast, about how they got to where they are today. But I can't help but wonder how many of them would be in a different situation without familial financial backing.

I try not to think about the opportunities I missed out on in my fields because I had to work to pay my bills. In the zoo/animal care world this is a huge issue. But it is getting better.

Aww the Q400 reminds me of Canada. It's such a shame that America has dumped the turboprop. It's such an efficient workhorse.

I feel like the grey paint kind of ruins it. The "unpainted" silver is king IMO.
