Booking dot com hides the best prices from desktop users.

They push “mobile-only” deals to get you on their app.

My hack? iPhone Mirroring. I compare desktop vs mobile side by side and always snag the cheapest rate. No switching devices. No missing deals.

Because why pay more for the same room?

Does Perplexity keep disabling "Reasoning" in your prompts?

Probably to save costs.

But Gemini 3 Pro has reasoning built in by default. Turn it on and experience how powerful and fast it actually is.

No more random downgrades.

Revolut got MiCA license. Crypto on the app now has EU protection. Direct transactions, clearer fees & better safeguards. Plus, exchange up to 500 000 EUR in stablecoins monthly without fees. As a digital nomad, this transparency matters. Changes roll out Nov 25. Less to worry about.

Icod de los Vinos: Drago Millenario, a 1,000-year-old Dragon Tree. Magical botanical garden with herbs & Atlantic views. Tenerife's microclimates from sea level to Mount Teide. Brunch at Casa del Drago = bliss.

Never heard of Honor of Kings till Malaysia. It's the top mobile game with 100M daily players. Played DOTA as a Warcraft 3 mod 20 years ago. Now this Chinese MOBA makes $2.6B yearly & dominates Asia. Living here opens my eyes! Thrilled by these discoveries!

Verne wrote about the Nautilus 150 years ago. I boarded a real electric submarine in Tenerife. For 60 EUR, no diving course is needed. We descended 30 meters. Watched seabream, trumpet fish, and garden eels. Crew divers played with rays on their heads. Fiction became reality.

Using Beeper for a year; it works! WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X - all in one app via Matrix. Remember XMPP? Let’s go further. If Telegram builds a WhatsApp bridge, others will follow. Imagine messaging like email: send/read anywhere. That's the future!

6 yrs testing Malaysian telcos taught me what matters. Hotlink's RM12/month plan is excellent: eSIM, 5G, Maxis coverage, 22GB + hotspot ($2.85 USD). Regular #, free SMS/calls. Zero minutes? No problem, WhatsApp rules. Stop chasing premium, find needs. Budget beats all sometimes.

Instagram just added Live Activities support for Dynamic Island on iPhone! No more failed story uploads when switching apps. Now I can record a gym session, hit post, and return to my workout app while the upload continues in the background. Proper multitasking for creators!

Revolut has finally cracked Portugal's banking network! 🇵🇹 Portuguese IBAN and MB Way are live for all residents. Meanwhile, local banks like ActivoBank struggle with basic tasks. Revolut is fast, mobile-first, and globally oriented, now perfectly integrated with Social Security, IRS, and MB Way.

Masca is the most impressive spot in Tenerife. I first visited in 2020 and keep returning. The winding road descends between miradors to a small village. The V-shaped valley is spectacular! Start early to avoid crowds. Check my favorite lunch place below ⬇️

iPhones finally let us ditch the “phone” part. As a digital nomad bouncing between countries, I default to WhatsApp and FaceTime Audio instead of traditional calls.

VoIP isn't just convenient. It's essential when all of my contacts are international numbers.

Boomer cafés with bad brews in Rouen ☕🚬, centuries-old timber façades straight out of Townscaper 🎮🏠 and a Paris veggie feast featuring mushroom tonkatsu 🍄. Jump into my French chapter — culture clashes, quiche surprises, friendship reunions

Stop chasing the next timezone.

Journal the triumphs and turbulence. Shoot photos for your eyes first. Publish only if it feeds you.

Celebration isn’t a finish line. It’s routine upkeep for a life in perpetual motion.

Apple blocked iPhone mirroring on Mac for the entire EU, blaming the Digital Services Act. Live Translation is axed next.

Feels like a slap to European users while everyone else enjoys the shiny features.

What gets cut next? Will iOS 27 even show up in the EU?

Copenhagen builds highways for bikes, not cars.

We rolled from City Hall to the Little Mermaid, glided over cycle bridges, then zipped beneath Øresund for Swedish cinammon roll. Then Reffen’s container food court sealed the day. #NomadTuesday

Threads is opening to non-Instagram users.

Text first, friendlier vibe, and Fediverse support make it a strong alternative to X.

The social web is happening!

Just spent an absurd amount of time migrating every chat—WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Instagram, Messenger, you name it—from Beeper Cloud to on-device Beeper.

Painful setup, but worth it: chats with my nomad friends now run direct. No 3rd-party server, full privacy and speed.

Apple Maps finally adds KL transit. I’m still leaning on Google Maps, but it’s great to have fresh competition in mobile navigation.

So impressed with Vietnam's Xanh SM. It's a local ride-hailing app with an all-electric fleet that's taking on Grab. The rides are often cheaper, proving that strong local competition benefits us nomads with better rates and service.

🦖 Love finding nerdy gems like this. Desi Dera, a tasty Indian restaurant in Da Nang, has the Chrome Dino hidden in its feedback QR code!
