I don’t think Thanos is a realistic option…
My expectation is that as Xander and Manny age out, they will shift to second base and first base respectively. That just means we have to develop some other infielders ASAP.

As a Padres fan, I remember his brief moment of brilliance with our team and then years of him rehabbing in the minors, to no avail. While I wish he had paid dividends with our team, I’m happy to see him finally making impact on a major league roster.
