like, yeah... predictable. but it sucks that it's so predictable! valve could just not have silly rules. if we had a large selection of pc stores, valve could do what they want, but given their near monopoly it's fucked up that they're allowed to have this strangle-hold...

yes they would. that's just your assertion based on nothing. why would they not want an independent organization to spearhead such an important part of the network?

what bluesky pbc did was to, if you used their servers to host your account, take down your entire account from their account servers if you broke a rule on the bsky app. nothing technically prohibited you from hosting your account elsewhere and that would've shielded you from this issue.

if they get shot in the boob enough though, they will start looking tattered, start bleeding, etc. they can very much be hurt, they're just much less receptive to being seriously harmed. and they certainly can get knocked out, drown, choke, go comatose, and die... they're not invincible.
