I loved the Kent's. Heard a few people say they were just redneck farmers. I liked their naivety and decency; simple people with values. Ma Kent using the phone was adorable, and I loved that she was the tougher of the two – Jonathan being the overprotective, emotional parent.
Need to add that there are other greats in this – Lois, Lex, Mr. Terrific (he got the best lines), Jimmy, the Kent's, and... the dog.

Oh, and there's no doubt in my mind that Nicholas Hoult's Lex Luthor performance is partly (specifically in the TV interview scene) inspired by Tom Cruise.

I loved SUPERMAN!!! Very different to what we've seen before on screen. I've enjoyed every iteration of the character – not gonna say anything bad about what's come before. The new film isn't perfect, but Corenswet is a GREAT Superman. A seriously entertaining film that's full of heart and hope.
