The mayor of New York City, describing the freedom of the press as a “luxury” and intimating that my colleague is doing “something wrong” for asking a question—at a press conference, no less.
Adams called it part of "the beauty of America" that he could refuse to call on Chris — for more than three months now.

"Other countries, you don't have that luxury," he said of the freedom of the press, "other countries you're dragged away if you do something wrong."
