This is as clear of a violation of the first amendment as there possibly can be. We live in a post-constitution country.
This means the VA won't cover abortions EVEN in the case of rape, incest, or serious threat to the health of the patient.

The DOJ memo was authored by Josh Craddock, one of the chief legal advocates for fetal personhood, i.e. imposing a nationwide abortion ban through the courts.

Dr. Buck claims the scientific establishment is elitist and gatekeeping, and he contends this contributes to distrust of science

I think he has it backward—distrust of science is rooted more in guys like him who say a hidebound establishment is protecting its prerogative to conceal knowledge
