Spent the time and did a full render of this little animation of Puffing Billy. It's no Pixar but I am very proud of it.
Yes I know the camera clips the axles. No I won't rerender, it took 4 hours.

We were at the Narrow Gauge Now event a couple of days ago. A really lovely show!

Due to the recent unexpected purchase of the Lady Anne, I cant reasonably afford to keep 3 live steam locos so the MSS is for sale, looking for £200 or 250 euros plus postage, these are £275 new and Gas firing, which this has, is £80 on top of that, DM is open

I've noticed I've had more DM notifications and I'd like to remind people that as a UK resident I cannot read them anymore, as I refuse to hand my data over to a company with previous data breach issues, and with things like Discord's data breach too, I'm not likely to in future, either.

I keep seeing pictures of Possums in car or truck engines like this, and more and more I'm convinced some of them are actually qualified mechanics.

A good attempt, but not good enough.
I've tried to sort out doing artworks for people between work shifts and on days off, but the fact is that among other things, it has thrown my health state off kilter. My sleeping has gotten worse over the past month and it's starting to affect my job. (1/2)

Changing things around here a bit. I'm going by my new handle as 'Old Coal'. As much as I liked NERailwayArtist, it did cause some confusion back on twitter, and it did seem to pigeonhole me as a purely rail artist. Hoping to change that as I go. The 'mascot' will still be an engine though.

They're openly calling to lock up every trans person by force. We need every ally to speak out forcefully against this because trans folks cannot do this on our own.
