#ThrowbackThursday I guess. First time pulling 500 lbs (227.5 kg) back in 2019. Haven’t got much stronger since but I’m able to do this while weighing about 15 kg less and feel so much better for it. #deadlift #gymsky #ndfitness

1. Just read this terrible article. Surprise surprise it's by an ABA centre and looks like it was AI generated.

I'm not completely against dietary interventions for autism, that is part of the the goal of this account but this article treats autistic children like they are pets rather than people.
Foods to avoid with autism
Foods and food ingredients to avoid that can negatively affect children with autism. Healthy diets are essential for children with autism.

All too common AuDHD experience that frankly I've had enough of.

Bulk is starting nicely. Just about to go on a hike. Gotta write out another fitness program when I get home then see if my ADHD lets me focus on the website.

Working on a bunch of fitness tools and calculators for the site. Should be finished tomorrow but here’s a sneak preview.

I wanted to find somewhere with all the tools and calculators I need in one place which loads fast, doesn’t have ads and just works so doing it myself!

After days of procrastinating I finally got the photo gallery working. It's pretty empty at the moment but everything seems to be working.

Just watched a great video by @eglintonemma.bsky.social which I think is particularly applicable to the community I'm trying to build.

Exactly. I'm sure people who would consistently fail to get an autism diagnosis by a few points still have much higher rates of burnout, anxiety, bullying, suicide, workplace discrimination etc than the general population and they absolutely deserve more support.

I have a lot more to say about this
I wouldn't even mind "we're all a bit autistic" if it was used empathically and constructively instead of dismissively. Second part of the phrase should be "...so let's help each other out with difficulties" instead of "...so don't make such a fuss about it because everyone has it equally hard"
