I bought myself an accordion at the flea market. I don't know anything about accordions, and the funny thing is, because I'm coming from playing a hurdy gurdy, I thought the fact that it made a continous sound without any keys being pressed meant that it wasn't broken XD

At the beach yesterday. found a bit of driftwood to whittle. Alas, back inland now, though Kurpie is just as pretty as Kaszuby.

I arrived at the hostel five minutes before check in closed and blamed it on traffic, but the real reason is that I had to make a detour and see some 11th century kurgans.

Chilling on the beach with a book about the harsh life of 16th-18th century peasants feels very decadent. Especially since I have snacks and I'm on a chapter about perpetual malnourishment.

Left engine mount is bad and the back shocks leaked out, mechanic will fix it by tomorrow. I wish my dad had been a car guy, I would have loved to learn how to repair a car. I can change my bulbs and put the spare on and that's about it.
Oh, sure, car, sure, start making a rattling noise three days before I have to take a work trip. You JUST had a checkup, that better be the loose fender and nothing more.
