⚠️On June 14, without any active fighting in the area, two women from Bilin Township were injured after junta troops fired artillery shells into civilian areas. The attacks targeted villages within the Aloo Gyi and Hna Pyaw Taw village tracts, where residents had been going about their daily lives.

The junta's attacks have made students in #Hpakant too fearful to attend school, as young people are unjustly denied safe pathways to study, with education centers repeatedly being targeted in airstrikes.

#Sagaing region remains hard-hit with violence and uncertainty. Following the downing of a military jet by resistance forces, several civilian lives were lost when the aircraft slammed into a building where people were sheltering.

The junta's airstrike in Kawkariek township, #Karen State, left four killed, including children & 35 wounded. The strike targeted a house being used to teach young students. Airstrikes are frequently carried out with little warning or time to flee.

🚨At least six civilians, including three children, were killed when junta aircraft dropped bombs on Pai Yap village in Kawkareik Township, Karen State.

The airstrike occurred at 2 PM on June 9, despite no ongoing clashes in the area. Witnesses said five bombs were dropped directly onto the village.

Children in Burma cannot even attend school safely as the junta deliberately undermines their access by not hesitating to drop bombs or conduct indiscriminate attacks. A generation of children risks losing educational opportunities, denied by the military.
The National Unity Government (NUG) ordered all schools under its administration to temporarily close on Sunday until further notice as a precaution against regime airstrikes.
