"It is difficult with these evil folk to know when they are in league, and when they are cheating one another."

Aragorn, son of Arathorn, "The Two Towers," J.R.R. Tolkien.
What *ought* to be shocking is how comparatively unconcerned the people whose concern trolling about Biden's cognitive decline drove him off the ticket remain about Trump's.

But, alas, to be shocked now, I would have to have thought it wasn't pure, and transparently, bad faith Swift Boating then.

Don't forget "womanizing predator." Can't reach the Robbins/Collins Sweatiness Threshold if they're not womanizing predators.

Yeah, I know I dated myself with "Robbins/Collins Sweatiness Threshold," but damn, he's even older than I am.

Pish-posh. Isn't this what "anti-woke" means?

I think the correct answer is "cynical dipshits who think they're masterminds faking gullibility but, in the manner of cynical dipshits since time immemorial, are gullible as only cowards who think there's a safe harbor for collaborators with tyranny can be.

Scalise, Emmer and McClain looked like POW's being forced to participate in a propaganda video at gunpoint.

It's a bar at the bottom of a hundred-foot deep, eight-inch wide trench and he still can't clear it.

NO KIDDING
MIKE JOHNSON IS LYING
Biden didn’t release the Epstein files because Merrick Garland was actively investigating Epstein/Maxwell co-conspirators all the way up until January 2025. Then Trump shuttered the probe. www.cbsnews.com/news/jeffrey...
House Democrats press DOJ for details on Epstein co-conspirators probe that was "inexplicably killed"
Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein provided the Justice Department with "precise and detailed" information about 20 alleged co-conspirators, House Democrats say.

In an eight page unpublished per curium. What a slap in the face.

Trump will have idea what a slap in the face that is. Though, frankly, I doubt any lawyer in his orbit knows enough to understand that either.

Even the smart ones like Greenwald are regularly driven to stupidity by the ungovernable compulsions of their disorder.

Don't worry, she's still an unapologetically terrible human being and a conspiracy-addled loon. I mean, Liz Cheney is actually who all the wankers who were swooning after she turned on Trump thought she was compared to Marge.

Besides all the college-friend guests who had long-time crushes on one of the happy couple who are definitely going to either to be drunkenly hooking up with each other and/or yakking their slice up with the free champagne before the night is over, you mean?

Really, really hard to say where the dementia begins and the inevitable degeneration of his Cluster B disorders into megalomania once wedded to political power ends, though. It's like being trapped in a valley between two unremediated Superfund sites.

I don't have a problem with that.

(The thing that makes this really bad is that Art Nouveau is my favorite period. A set of Mucha's 1896 Seasons prints were the first real framed art pieces I got after I finally bought some walls to hang them on, FFS.)

"Touted" particularly loudly by media outlets owned or controlled by billionaires, one notices.

Right? I doubt Trump has ever read even a children's book about animals, been to a zoo, watched a nature show, or walked in the woods his whole life.

Beavis and Butthead, on the other hand, would jump at a chance to shoot a camel as long as it was hobbled and at a safe distance.

Interesting that the leakers felt they needed to go to ProPublica to make sure it got published. I mean, ProPublica's great, historically, it's never been been the top-of-mind outlet for DC leakers to call, has it? But hey, now that it's out maybe the NYT will report it as if it was their scoop.
