Commissioner Causey and I urge Congress to pass the Preventing Environmental Hazards Act of 2025 to amend the National Flood Insurance Program so homeowners can remove or relocate these condemned structures before they fall into the ocean.

Patients, providers, and their families are counting on the legislature to act, not abandon them in their time of need. Let’s get this done. I urge all North Carolinians to make their voices heard; tell your legislators that you demand them to do their job.

We are proud to be home to more than 600,000 veterans.

I will continue to fight for veteran health care, housing, and economic opportunity so that North Carolina can be the most military-friendly state in the country.
