Remember when a president wandering the wrong direction when called during a speech would have been a major snafu that we'd be talking and joking about for weeks and months and even sometimes a few years later? Now its not even a footnote for crazy shit that happened in the last week.

Here's the thing. Even if you're a shitty human who doesn't care about facts or lives lost, Ukraine fighting Russia is the best possible thing for the US. In 3 years, we've humiliated a chief rival without firing a single shot, and every day he continues to lose to, he looks even worse.

ppl getting angry at this but he's talking alliances and he's 100% right- you cannot trust a country where every 4 yrs the foreign policy does a complete 180 & tears up treaties and reneges on deals and withholds payments because some sheep farmers in Wisconsin think too many black women have jobs
America is over. There is no coming back from this.
If we're lucky maybe we claw back some small-l liberalism for our daily lives. But even that might be too much to hope for.
