Greenways bring multiple benefits to communities & arent just for tourism & leisure. They are active travel corridors which enable people to commute safely, provide safe routes for kids to school, for public health & wellbeing.
More needs to be done to stamp out this kind of misinformation campaign

They are spreading serious misinformation and scaremongering. There are no houses being demolished, there are no plans to use CPOs, there are no farms or livelihoods being put at risk. It is complete misinformation campaign and it is good to see the @thejournal.ie call it out.

Traffic wardens have a difficult enough job and face verbal and physical abuse on a daily basis, without articles like this.
The entire premise of the article is also flawed, blaming the closure of local businesses on the traffic changes in the town, which couldn't be further from the truth.
