The squirrel has quite a following. Last week when I was in Frog Pond there were about a dozen people gathered around watching it. (Apparently there are 2 white squirrels in Frog Pond? I've only seen one which is always in the same area.) Yes many people putting out seed. Lots more birds as a result

If you're planning a road-trip through all of the Eastern provinces plan on taking lots of time and don't miss Newfoundland! 3 weeks minimum in my opinion because it's beautiful and so peaceful that you won't want to hurry.

I wish police would stop saying ”there is no risk to public safety" every time someone is shot in HRM. I beg to differ. If there are countless men wandering our city with loaded guns, and often in broad daylight, there is indeed a risk to public safety!

A well-written article with very important points. One critical aspect that is missing is that as long as politicians' election campaigns are allowed to be funded by real estate developers we will see no change in how things operate. Check out Fillmore's political campaign contributor list.

New parents need more support, not less. A feeding clinic is about feeding and nutrition, but it's also about the mental health of both parent and baby. It can be very stressful learning to feed your new little one. A calm, supported, confident parent results in a happier, healthier babe. Win win.
