My kids school just sent a message explicitly saying that if they show up the school is going on lockdown and they will not be allowed in. No walking field trips. Extra adults.

Laying on the floor, putting my face on the cold boards, elevating my legs, and focusing on my breathing to avoid a panic attack when the teen asked if I needed my rescue med.

They are still children. They havent reached their full heights yet. They still have cartoon characters on their clothes. They watch to see what everyone else is doing before acting.

They were teaching a kid with anxiety whole word recognition
I'd been trying to pull back on the 'intimidating elementary school teachers' thing and just said fuck it.
