It’s much harder than I thought and yet, when I relaxed and took away the expectation, it was quite amazing what could be achieved.

Here’s what I learnt from my experience:

🧘🏻‍♂️ Be at one with the experience- allow the flow in the moment
🔑 Apply consistent movement
⏳ Have patience
🧹 Keep your wheel clean/tidy
🐢 Sometimes the wheel needs to go slow, other times fast 🐇, adapt as you need
💧 Water is very important!
🙃 Have fun

I made something. 😍

In January this year, I had wonderful time at a pottery wheel throwing experience - I loved every moment. It was my first time using a potters wheel and this past month I got to pick out the finish piece… ta dah. I’m absolutely thrilled with the result. 1/3

Personally, I find that even a short 10-minute break significantly increases my productivity, even though it often feels wrong in the moment.
