I’ve been shifting away from TikTok all year, but it has been my “home” online for 5 years. It’s sad to let it go, but it’s not safe there anymore. I’m putting my energy into Substack and Patreon now (lots of free content still), and will be posting a little less on social media.

Been thinking about this 14th amendment threat anew since my birth father was undocumented. It’s not really about “illegals”—it’s pure racism. I’m safe only because I ended up with fair skin and freckles, adopted by a white European couple, and married a German. That shouldn’t make me feel lucky.
