We need to continue INVESTING in FL communities, who are among the most vulnerable to HIV and housing instability. Cuts to HOPWA would hamper efforts to keep FL community members healthy and housed.

Of the 20 jurisdictions that receive the most fed.💲for housing for PLWH, 4 are in FL: Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa.

FL is the state with the 2nd highest incidence of new HIV diagnoses in the country.

🏡 We're also lifting up efforts by peers + friends to protect HIV prevention funding + Medicaid; advocate for HIV + housing bills in state legs; and efforts to coordinate responses to threats against our programs + communities.
