This Saturday is the second Saturday of the month. I wonder if any local bookstores will have free wine & cheese plus 10% off all purchases from 5pm - 7:30pm. No way to know, I suppose.

Tip: You don't have to curate a feed that's strictly serious, professional, or intellectual 24/7.

Do yourself a favor and follow folks because they're hilarious, eccentric, hopeful, or rebellious in other ways.

We get to hold multitudes including joy. Don't let them steal that from you, too.

I say this, and mean this, every year: It can be tough to be alone on Thanksgiving. There are bars in D.C. that will welcome you for free food and socializing. Among them:

Busboys and Poets Anacostia serves lunches to anyone who asks, with live music, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Not a lot of people understand this... but you actually don’t have to have an opinion about everything. You don’t have to decide if something is good or bad. Marcus Aurelius says limiting the amount of opinions we have is one of the most powerful things we can do in life.
