We have an affordability AND an accountability crisis because nobody in the Trump administration takes accountability for any of their mistakes. They blame everything on Joe Biden, FAKE NEWS, and the radical left Marxists. It's pathological and pathetic.

We're not in the bleak world that Stephen King chronicled in his 1982 novel The Running Man. We've stumbled into an even more hopeless reality.

As the man who coined the phrase Manic Pixie Dream Girl, I'm always looking for nifty new terminology, like "nut-picking", an adroit encapsulation of bad-faith arguments that pretend the words of loony extremists represent the convictions of many. www.nathanrabin.com/happy-place/...

The Republican president is a pedophile who has doubled my healthcare costs and let scores of violent criminals out of jail. But a Democratic mayor-elect wants to make busses free in a city I don't live in. I have never felt more politically homeless.

He will do anything to help anyone, particularly the 60 percent of the public that he describes as evil, insane, treasonous, motivated solely by jealousy of his incredible achievements and an enemy of the American people.
I know this is an obvious and old point, but it still shocks me how quickly the culture of the GOP has come to defined by the absurd personality type of the "toad-licking, ass kissing alpha." Amazing that they've built an audience that finds such deportment appealing, rather than disqualifying.
