“Don’t feed the trolls” also extends to bad opinion pieces in papers of record.

They run them bc people react to them the most.

If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change.

It’s not easy and takes constant practice!

There were always clues as to how Ratcliffe/Ineos would treat fans in how they treated workers, avoided paying tax in the UK, had a poor environmental record, and were anti-union. Billionaires become billionaires through exploitation and will try to do the same to fans.
‘Everyone may ask how, exactly, it is putting the "Manchester" back into Manchester United to slash jobs from Mancunians and hike ticket prices for local kids, or how INEOS are a "beacon" of a "fan-centred" approach when this latest decision was taken without consultation.’
INEOS arrived at Man Utd on a wave of goodwill but ticket price rises put that at risk
The drive to increase revenue is now affecting matchgoing fans and supporters' groups are not impressed

I used this type of Social media like a night in the pub. There will be some politics chat, fitba chat, tv chat and nonsense chat. And my ideal pub would absolutely be an echo chamber.

I'm hardly likely to make a boozer full of cunts I've got nothing in common with my local am I?
X certainly doesn’t ’broaden horizons’. It narrows horizons to the kind of loser who buys a blue tick and has right-wing views that the algorithm likes. Plus the Russians have gamed Twitter for years. Secondly, journalists need to stop thinking everyone uses and approaches social media like they do.
Opinion - The problem with Bluesky: It won’t broaden our horizons: In the wake of Donald Trump’s election win, the social-media platform has enjoyed a surge of new users looking for an alternative to Elon Musk’s X. But will it be useful, if it just creates an echo chamber for the left?

Astounded by his defensive work rate considering the uptake in attacking output!!
7- Fulham - Alex Iwobi

Right now I would say Iwobi over ESR / Robinson. Flexibility to play out wide offering legs, as a 10 or deeper in game, he’s taken his game to a new level driving the #FFC team on this season. Decision making has improved a lot over the past year.⚪️⚫️
